Liability for content
We are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws. For third-party information that we merely transmit, cache or store, the liability exemptions of Articles 4 to 6 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA) apply; under § 7 (1) DDG they apply to all service providers. Under Article 8 DSA we are not obliged to monitor such information in general or to actively seek facts or circumstances that indicate illegal activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which knowledge of a specific infringement becomes known. Upon notification of corresponding legal violations, we will remove the affected content immediately.

About ChannelHelm
ChannelHelm is local-first, self-hosted software that runs on the operator's own hardware. Source media, transcripts, analyses, and generated assets stay on that machine — there is no ChannelHelm cloud service that collects or stores them. It integrates only with the third-party services the operator configures, such as LLM providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio) and a social-publishing API for shipping assets to external platforms. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
